 This retrofit receives channel number and note number trough MIDI protocol. Triggering synth circuit boards the same as you playing on the keyboard with hands.
Other words - It control keyboard and push buttons (ensemble, organ and strings registers). All other controls in your hands. You still can play on build in synth keyboard at the same time when he controls by MIDI. Or you can remove the keyboard and make this synth as desktop. Good chance for giving second life to unit with broken keys that so expensive last years.

Installation is simple, but requires tools for soldering, drilling holes and reading schematic diagrams skills. If you can`t do it yourself - find technician at local repair shop. Job takes approx. 1-2h in moderate speed.

User operation instructions is so simple:
1.  Stop all MIDI traffic, push learn button. Indicator will blink two times and stay ON to wait for MIDI messages. Send MIDI note on the channel you want for this synth.
