Crumar DS2 MIDI kit retrofit (A03.1 dual board and MIDI channel)

This MIDI kit receives only channel number and note number trough MIDI protocol. And triggering synth circuit boards the same as you playing on the keyboard with hands.
Other words - It controls only the keyboard, all other controls in your hands. You still can play on build in synth keyboard at the same time when he controls by MIDI.

Installation is relatively simple, but requires tools for soldering, drilling holes and reading schematic diagrams skills.
If you can`t do it yourself - find technician at local repair shop. Job takes approx. 1-2,5h in moderate speed.

Process for set MIDI channel: User operations
  Stop all MIDI traffic.
To set channel for POLY section: push and hold the LEARN button for a 1-2sec. LED will blink fast four times and stay ON to wait for MIDI messages.
For set MIDI channel to MONO section : push and hold the LEARN button for a 2-4sec. LED will blink slow four times and stay ON to wait for MIDI messages. Of course you can set both channels is same.
